| This country has more than 8,000 miles of U.S. border protected by the dedicated men and women of the United States Border Patrol the mobile, uniformed law enforcement arm of U.S. Customs and Border Protection within the Department of Homeland Security. Together with other law enforcement officers, the Border Patrol helps maintain borders that work securing the country against terrorism, illegal drugs and crime.
Protecting our borders is rugged, exciting outdoor work that will challenge your mind and body. The Border Patrol is looking for people to meet this challenge. To apply, you must be 18 to 39 years old, a U.S. citizen, and pass a background investigation.
